alright this definately isnt the final look of my deck yet. im gonna replace soul release with either my body as a shield or giant trunade. ill leave it in my side deck because even though people like to use dd crow more i like soul release better because if u can sense the OTK coming one turn ahead then u can use this on 5 cards rather then just 1 card which is quite insignificant in comparison to 5. it also allows u to manage ur graveyard for DAD. im thinking of replacing starlight road with another icarus or a trap dust shoot like jimmy always suggests. lightning vortex might have to be replaced for a one for one destruction card like smashing ground or fissure. anywayz that's just the skeleton of my blackwings for now

Top decks of this format(march 2010)
Hey this is Charlie and today i will be talking about my opinion of the top decks and worst decks for this format.
Well Blackwing's are probably the best deck rite now coz they have speed and power also because of the release of the new BW's in TSHD they are probably the best deck out rite now.
They are also barely effected by the banlist since the only thing that got hit was Black Whirlwind even though its been semi limited blackwings are still the best deck rite in this format
Another Great deck in this format is Macro. Because all decks nowadays need the grave and macro pretty much shuts down Lightsworns,Zombies,Twilight,Flamvell Monarchs,X sabers/xx sabers and other decks that rely on the graveyard.Although they never seem to top Nationals,SJC and other major events they are still a very annoying and powerful deck.
Monarch decks are probably one of the best decks in this format becoz the of treeborn being semi limited and with the release of battle fader which gives monarchs more tribute fodder and defense against decks like blackwings and zombies which involve loads of swarming
One of the decks that arent seen that much in this format is Lightsworns coz they were hit hard by the ban list with lumina being limited and Charge of The Light Brigade being limited and honest being semi limted. And Also Necro Garda was limited which lowered there def.
Chaos decks were actually playable in the last format but with since Chaos Sorcerer have been limited i dont thing that Chaos would be seen much in this format
Flamvell Synchro are amazing in this format coz they can sync 2-4 times a turn if u have the rite cards. Some people call it Flamvell monarchs but you cant really call it flamvell monarchs just coz u run 3 cauis.
Rekindling is a very broken card becoz u can just sync and bring them back and synchro for another monster.
Infernities are gonna be the next lightsworns(when they were good) just becoz there amazing combo and they dnt need their hand that much and with the new infernities that are gonna be released infernities are almost unstoppable against most decks, but they do have weaknesses becoz the kinda rely on the grave so decks with dimensional fissure, macro cosmos have a good chance against them.
Well thats pretty much it Subscribe

Card of the Day Review : Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch
Sup its Jimmy here again, and today I'll be talking about one of the Monarchs that hasn't seen much play compared to the best two Monarchs :
Raiza The Storm Monarch and Caius The Shadow Monarch (sometimes even Mobius The Frost Monarch)
It's Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch!
Let's look at all of their effects:
Thestalos - When this card is Tribute Summoned, randomly discard 1 card from your opponent's hand. If the discarded card was a Monster Card, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the monster x 100.
Raiza - When this card is Tribute Summoned, return 1 card on the field to the top of its owner's Deck.
Caius - When this card is Tribute Summoned, remove from play 1 card on the field. If it was a DARK Monster Card, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.
Mobius : When this card is Tribute Summoned, you can destroy up to 2 Spell or Trap Cards on the field.
As you can see, Raiza spins a card back to the top of their deck causing them not to draw a new card...... Caius removes something off the field....... Mobius may destroy their backrow ....... All of these Monarchs focus on killing their field advantage while Thestalos weakens only their hand advantage.......
Field Advantage is usually important than Hand advantage....
But in the current meta, besides Infernities, hand advantage is also important..... people like to have a few cards in their hand in case of cards such as heavy storm and lightning vortex.......
A good situation for Thestalos is if they have a prepared honest waiting on their hand, and you manage to summon thestalos and choose honest then they'd lose life points and you can attack with less hesitation......
Thestalos may also get rid of their DAD or JD or Triumph Card in their hand......... As people need requirements for cards that turn the game around......
At my locals, I'm starting to see Thestalos get some more play and I hope that it will be widely played one day.....
Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch is a card you should consider if you ever decide to run a Monarch besides Caius, Raiza or Mobius......

Plaguespreader Zombie vs Blackwing-Gale the whirlwind
Hey it's Alex again and i want to discuss a very HOT topic right now, tuners, but to be more specific plaguespreader zombie and Blackwing- Gale the whirlwind.
So these two tuners are the most(in)famous tuners in the game and the most splashable/flexible in any deck because they're flexible.here are the effects so there's no confusion.
Blackwing gale:
If you control a "Blackwing" monster other than "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can halve the ATK and DEF of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls.
Plaguespreader zombie:
You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard by placing 1 card from your hand on top of your Deck. When this card is removed from the field after being Special Summoned by this effect, it is removed from play.
So let's look at gale first, it has 3 stars which makes it a tuner capable of bringing out the 5-8 star synchros with ease. It comes custom made with a shrink that is actually permanent which means the halving stays rather then just being there for one turn. Also Gale is typically best used in its home place of a blackwing deck. blizzard can recycle gale several times for greater tuning and it is also able to be special summoned because of its effect. so of course of it's custom shrink it saves u that one valuable card space which could be used by giant trunade or my body.
Now plaguespreader. this guy is probably the most reusable tuner in any deck where as gale is mostly reusable in blackwings. it's a lvl2 star tuner which is more likely to offer lvl 6 or 8 synchro monsters. Apart from being of greatest use in a zombie deck it has also found a place in twilight/lightsworn decks because even when it's milled it can br brought back by top decking one card. if that card happened to be wulf-lightsworn beast then u get a plus 1 when u mill it. although it offers great synchro opportunities it lacks in offensive skill as in comparison to gale which can take down 2500 which is good considering how a lot of monsters in the meta fall short of that number. i might be a bit bias on gale but that's because i run a bwing deck so i know it's strengths and possibly weaknesses.
So overall both are excellent tuners and it's still a fierce debate on which one is better. So yeah leave ur comment below on what u reckon is a better tuner as these two are the best of the best

Card of the Day Review : Solidarity
It's Team Hurricane Jimmy here.....
So hello fellow readers whether you play ygo or not......
So today I'm gonna be talkin about the card "Solidarity" (even though I never liked it).....
Let's look at it's effect first of all:
Spell - Continuous
If you have only 1 original (printed) Type of monster in your Graveyard, face-up monsters you control with the same Type gain 800 ATK.
And some theme decks tend to have only one type of monster within the deck eg. Spellcasters, Winged Beasts, Machines and so forth....... But other decks don't, For example coz I run Giant Rat which is a Beast within a Machina Gear (Machina + Ancient Gears) Deck which are machines I should not run solidarity coz I could end up having two types of monsters in my graveyard........
And what's even worse is that it stacks.......
Example:
Activate 1st Solidarity, Here ya go 800 ATK - Monsters Say YAY!
Activate 2nd Solidarity, Here's another 800 ATK - Monsters say YIPEEE!!!!
Thats 1600 extra atk!!!!! - Opponent's Monsters say FML! (FK My Life)
Solidarity can allow monsters with weak att to take down bigger monsters.....
In the current Meta, Attacking is the best way to win and to overcome synchros with ease is to have bigger beatsticks than the opponent........
Solidarity is especially popular in Machina Gadgets......It even comes with the structure deck : Machina Mayhem........ In The 2010 Washington DC YCS, Peter Cheng a user of Machina Gadgets came 1st in the top 32..... He ran Solidarity over more flexible cards such as book of moon or shrink......... Book of Moon is surely one of the most flexible cards in the meta but Cheng chose Solidarity over Book of Moon.....
In my preference, Solidarity is a bad card and a bad topdeck overall.... Book of Moon and Smashing Ground are better cards..... But it all comes down to player's preference... Cheng used it and he came 1st..... So is it a good card afterall?
So what do you think? Post your comments and opinions on our youtube channel.......

Blackwings-still alive and strong or dead>??
Hey guys this is team leader Alex and i wanna discuss blackwings which i was inspired to build after i joined my first locals and got destroyed by the speed that blackwings had back in the 2009 march format. i vsed two blackwing decks and both ripped me apart. But when the 2010 march format hit i was happy to find that lightsworns/twilight have been destroyed and they dont reign the game anymore as compared to infernities and x sabers. Although it did shake blackwings and cripple the already crippled deck by semi limiting the search enginblack whirlwind and also limiting the draw power of the deck allure of darkness. In one of most recent YCS infernities and sabers dominated the top 32 as expected and only 1 blackwing deck made the top 32. So why dont the blackwings still reign at the tops? i mean the best deck variant of blackwings is one that runs opression such as vayu opression which is the variant im playing right now. Opression should be able to cripple the meta as it restricts special summoning for a price of 800 LP blackwings still have impressive speed but in comparison to sabers and infernities they just dont seem to be fast enough. or is it because those decks r still new and broken so they havent yet been crippled by the format. I wonder if konami has overdone the damage to blackwings and made them near unplayable in the format now. because the supposed "support" that blackwing users were expecting was rubbish and the only noteworthy one would be breeze the zephyr or however u spell it :L
So yeah if u guys could all help me discuss this topic and explain why blackwings just arent up to scratch anymore that would be helpful thanks
cyas-ALEX
